SM Entertainment’s S.M.ART EXHIBITION, SM's collaboration project with IT companies, kicked off its ten-day run at the COEX Mall in Soul, Korea on Friday.

The interactive entertainment exhibition has launched to provide K-pop fans with special experience of Korean entertainment contents through high technologies.

Powered by 5.6 billion KRW [approximately 4,955,000 US Dollars], this includes 3D clips of SM artists' video, items [a name for booth] where they can take pictures and dance along with the stars on the screen as well as artwork by artisans.

A few of the SM’s most beloved artists, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x), and EXO--composed of EXO-K and EXO-M--attend the grand event's preview session to promote S.M.ART EXHIBITION Thursday.

In a bid to build the event as a sole strong platform for K-pop, SM officials are planning to take the exhibition abroad by starting with Taiwan early next year. They will continent hopping to reach overseas fans in continents including Asia and other including Japan and China.

The big scale event will be open to the public from August 10 to August 19.

Ever thought about dancing with Super Junior on stage? This is a chance to make your dreams come through, with “Genie with KT” booth. By using the augmented reality technology, that's amazing opportunity make it possible for you to dance with your favorite stars’ hit tunes and receives cheers from them.

If you were ever looking for a totally new way to watch the kick-ass performance of your ‘oppas,’ head to “Panorama 3D Theater” right away. The big-scale panorama screen will blow you away with its special 3D videos featuring rocking moves by SHINee’s Taemin, EXO-K’s KAI, TVXQ!’s U-Know Yunho, and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk.

To enjoy this scheduled event, one should hit the reservation machine (located in the front of the entrance) every 15 minutes in order to see your favorite stars dance in space. Additionally, the machine automatically saves the visitor a spot for another booth, "Live Hologram," allowing them to easily attend another event.

Must do
Remember to make a reservation in advance online to use the Photo Cylinder booth before visiting the exhibition. Due to technical problems and without a reservation, not everyone will get a chance to take a photograph with their favorite SM artists.

Main attraction
Want to be the hero of Girls’ Generation’s music video? There are 70 cameras waiting for you at the “S.M.MOTION with CANON” booth, which captures and films one's motion and places your 'nunas' and you together in a one and only video. This booth also requires prior online reservation due to technical matters.

If you are a big fan of cars, here’s what you should do. The collaboration work of SM Entertainment and Hyundai, one of Korea’s world-class automobile company, invented a luxury van which allows the visitor to get a view of what SM artists see while they are on the road.

Just think about what it would be like to ride around in the van filled with music and videos featuring your favorite stars. That is made possible at the booth where the van called, "S.M.Entertainment Van with Hyundai," is parked.

Keep in mind
One visitor per day is given a lucky chance to talk via video phone with any of their favorite SM artists. All attendees are given this chance, so cross your fingers since it can be you.

Main attraction
As soon as you enter the hall, the first thing that grabs one's attention is the “Fantasy Tree.” The giant column will feature video images of all 45 idols of SM Entertainment that plays every hour on the hour. Pay close attention to your watch, look at the tall tree-shaped screen, and see which artist will entertain you.

If you are fond of artworks, spending your time in “S.M.ART Gallery with Gana Art & Seoul Auction” is a good idea. Numerous famed artists such as Michael Lau, a world-famous figure artist, joined the project to transform SM artists, such as TVXQ! and SHINee, into the colorful artworks. Seoul Auction is also working with the exhibition to bring the artwork to fans and art lovers.

Give it a try
Not really familiar with SM stars? There is an easy way to get to know them and get a prize at the same time at the booth called “Star Puzzle.” From easy level games such as recognizing their faces to hard level games in linking stars with their singles’ title as well as answering three questions on a touch screen.
