Lee Hi blasted in at No. 1 on Gaon singles last week with her debut single "1, 2, 3, 4."

Lee Hi's soulful "1, 2, 3, 4" made its debut at No. 1 on Gaon singles chart polled between October 28 and November 3, holding off last week's winner Hyuna, soloists Ailee and Byul.

The teenage star is the first, and the only, rookie artist this year to see her debut single arrive with a crown. Only 16, she became an overnight star after making her appearance on SBS' popular reality singing competition "KPOP STAR" earlier in 2012.

TV personality Haha's fiancee Byul landed at No. 2 with her feel-good love song "So Cute." Featuring Kwon Jung-yeol of indie band 10cm, the duet song jumped up six slots from the previous week.

Ailee, who has the nickname "the Korean Beyonce," climbed up a rung to No. 3 with "I'll Show You." Following right after the songstress is K.will who slid down a slot to No. 4 with "Please Don't..."

miss A, meanwhile, grabbed tight to the fifth spot with "I Don't Need a Man" last week.

Other popular Korean pop songs from last week were Primary's "?," Mnet "Superstar K" participants Jung Joon-young and Roy Kim's "Becoming Dust," Hyuna's "Ice Cream," Geeks' "Officially Missing You, Too" and Urban Zakapa's "All the Same."

Over on the album chart, Urban Zakapa's second studio album "02" ranked at No. 1 during the same time frame.

Hip-hop trio Epik High followed next with the group's seventh album "99" and Kim Jong-kook rounded out the top three, also with his seventh record "Journey Home."
